Product Safety and Intended Use
Kymopsis sells development electronics for engineers and product teams. Read the product page and documentation for the exact version before you power, assemble, program, or install anything.
Before you use a product
Our products are version-specific technical items. Before use, read the product page and any manual for the stated hardware and firmware version: pinout, supply voltage and current limits, interface levels, antenna and clearance instructions, enclosure and environment limits, and software release notes. Where a product page gives specific warnings, those warnings control over this general page.
Handling and installation
- Use only the documented supply, wiring, connectors, antenna configuration, and compatible modules.
- Disconnect power before assembly or wiring changes unless the procedure says otherwise.
- Use ESD controls. Inspect for damage, overheating, shorts, contamination, or loose connections before powering.
- Bare boards, kits, and prototypes need competent handling and a suitable enclosure before any deployment.
What our products are not for
Do not use Kymopsis products for life safety, emergency response, medical diagnosis, protective interlocks, vehicle control, weapons, or any other use that a product page prohibits. Development kits and evaluation modules are not finished products.
Performance and radio
Radar performance depends on mounting, materials, reflections, interference, firmware, environment, and target. Unless a product page states a measured result for that product and version, figures shown are supplier or planning values, not guarantees. Radio hardware emits radio-frequency energy. Follow the product documentation for placement and operation. We do not publish radio-frequency exposure measurements for catalog kits unless the product page says so. Radio rules differ by country; see the Compliance and Market Availability page.
If something goes wrong
If you see smoke, unusual heat, odor, swelling, damage, or unstable operation, remove power and stop use. Email [email protected] with the order number, product and version, photos, and a description. Safety issues are handled outside the ordinary 30-day return window and do not depend on an RMA.
Dispose of electronics through local electronic-waste collection.
