Compliance and Market Availability

Whether a radio product may be sold, imported, or operated depends on the exact product and version, the country, the buyer, and the use. Checkout availability does not settle that.

What this page says and does not say

We keep four things separate: whether we offer a product for sale, whether it can be selected at checkout for your country, what regulatory evidence we hold for it, and any restriction we apply. A product name, a supplier document, a component authorization, a development-kit label, or a checkbox at checkout does not by itself show that a finished kit may be sold or operated in your country. We do not state that any product is FCC, CE, UKCA, or otherwise certified unless that product page says so.

Development kits and evaluation modules

A development-kit or evaluation-kit name is not a blanket exemption in any country, and our use of that name is not a statement that an exemption has been met for your purchase. Some development kits are sold only to qualified professional buyers, with a buyer confirmation at checkout and a notice that ships with the kit. Where that applies, the product page links to the Development Kit Buyer Terms. Integrators of finished products remain responsible for authorization, labeling, and operation of their own products.

Your responsibility as the buyer

Radio-frequency rules, import rules, and export controls differ by country. You are responsible for checking whether you may import, possess, and operate a product where you are, and for any license, authorization, or approval you need. Import duties and import VAT on catalog orders are included in the price (see the Shipping Policy); approvals and licences are not.

Orders we may refuse or cancel

We may refuse, hold, or cancel an order when the destination, end use, or buyer qualification cannot be verified, when sanctions or export controls apply, or when fulfilling the order would create a legal or compliance risk. We refund amounts paid for a cancelled order. This does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Versions and changes

Changes to hardware, firmware, antenna, enclosure, or intended use can change what a product may lawfully be used for. Each product page identifies the version it describes. Updates apply to new orders.
