80 GHz Radar Level Sensor Module (76–81 GHz) Development Kit

From $19.00

Development board, not just a module. The development kit price includes a configuration GUI, firmware for different applications, a flashing guide, and light engineering changes for your setup. Embedded firmware and GUI source code are not included. Need source code, custom firmware, or the bare module in volume? Module-only pricing is much lower, with support scoped separately. 80 GHz (76–81 GHz) radar level sensor module for tank and silo level development, sold as a development kit for engineers and integrators. Not an FCC-certified end product. Development kit — you will confirm the Buyer Terms at checkout.

  • Development kit: the board plus the configuration GUI, firmware builds, a flashing guide, and light engineering support. For evaluating the radar and building a product.
  • DIY board: the bare board pre-flashed with the level-measurement firmware, plus UART interface notes. No GUI, tools, or support. For makers who read the output over UART.

Buying in volume? Bare modules in quantity cost far less per unit than a development kit, and custom firmware or mounting can be built in.

SKU: NDTH7-JDM44CJ02-Y Category: Tag: Brand:

NDTH7-JDM44CJ02-Y is an 80 GHz radar level sensor module that covers the full 76–81 GHz band, for non-contact distance and liquid or solid level measurement work in tanks, silos, sumps, and open channels. Kymopsis sells this SKU as a development kit for product developers, software developers, and system integrators. It is not sold as a finished level transmitter.

Editions

  • Development kit (USD 59): the board plus a configuration GUI, application firmware builds, a flashing guide, and light engineering changes for your setup.
  • DIY board (USD 19): the bare board pre-flashed with the application firmware, with UART interface notes (output format and basic commands) provided after purchase. No GUI, no tools, and no engineering support.

Neither edition includes embedded firmware or GUI source code.

Regulatory status

This module is not FCC certified. It is not an authorized transmitter for unrestricted installation or operation. This page is not an FCC Grant, not a CE declaration, and not a finding that an evaluation-kit exemption has been met.

If your finished product needs its own FCC equipment authorization, use the B2B program. Kymopsis can scope that custom integration and support the laboratory and TCB process. Kymopsis does not issue FCC grants.

Supplier datasheet figures

The figures below come from the supplier introduction for NDTH7-JDM44CJ02-Y. They are not a Kymopsis lab report.

  • Carrier: 76–81 GHz

What the photographs show

The cover photograph is the bare PCB, antenna side. The silkscreen on that board reads ADTH3102JDM44 YW01 V1.0-230509. The SoC package in the photo is marked Andar ADT3102. The datasheet model and the PCB marking are both printed on the materials supplied with this listing.

Gallery photographs show the same module family with a pale radome, front and connector side. The USB debug interface board NDTE260300XXNA01 is a separate item and is not included in this kit.

Integration notes from the same datasheet

  • Two 3.3 V inputs are named J2 and J3.
  • Suggested install for a level measurement: above the target, centered, antenna parallel to the surface.
  • Range depends on lens, target size, and the scene.

Why a radome, lens, or horn antenna matters in a tank

The bare board has a wide beam (stated −3 dB 100° horizontal, 80° elevation). Inside a tank or silo, a wide beam also lights up the walls, ladders, agitators, inlets, and weld seams, and those reflections can show up as false echoes (multipath). Narrowing the beam with a lens or a horn antenna puts more of the energy on the product surface and less on the structure around it, and the datasheet states that longer range (up to 30 m) needs a lens. The radome protects the antenna side from dust and condensation. A horn-antenna version is planned; ask through B2B if you need it now.

Questions

Is this module FCC or CE certified?

No. It is not FCC certified, and this page does not claim CE certification. It is sold as a development kit for engineers and integrators, not as an authorized end product.

Who is it for?

Product developers, software developers, and system integrators who are evaluating the module. It is not a finished level-meter appliance.

Can Kymopsis support FCC authorization for a finished product?

Yes, as a separate B2B custom program: integration scope plus laboratory and TCB work. That work is not included in this kit.
